1. Data controller

2. What data we process

• Email and name (optional) — when you join the free list or subscribe to the paid plan.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers, only the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe assigns.
• Reviews — name and text you choose to publish.
• Technical logs — standard web-server logs (IP, request, timestamp) kept for security and troubleshooting.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the paid subscription (performance of a contract).
• Sending the free report you requested (consent, withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email).
• Security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting (legitimate interest).
• Legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

We do not use your data for profiling and we do not sell it.

4. Processors and recipients

We rely on the following providers acting as data processors: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Hetzner (EU hosting). Stripe and Resend may transfer data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

5. Retention

Subscriber data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then as required by legal and tax obligations. Free-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Reviews are kept while published. Technical logs are rotated periodically.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by contacting us at contact@folioquill.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7. Cookies

This site uses a single technical cookie, site_lang, which remembers the language you selected. No profiling, tracking or analytics cookies are used — which is why no cookie banner is shown. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
